Sateri Lyocell Advances Towards "Global No. 1"

On Jun 5, the phase II 150kt/yr lyocell project of Sateri (Changzhou) Fiber Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sateri Group, was fully put into production. The single-line capacity of 75kt/yr is currently the world's largest single-line design capacity, setting a new world record. The actual annual output of Sateri Lyocell has thus reached 400kt, moving towards the "global No.1" position.

The phase II 150kt/yr project of Sateri (Changzhou) has 2 lines with the world's largest single-line design capacity and advanced technology, each with a single-line capacity of 75kt/yr. The phase I 100kt/yr lyocell project of Sateri (Changzhou) was put into operation in 2022. After phase II is put into operation, the output of Sateri (Changzhou) will exceed 250kt/yr.

The commissioning of the phase II project in Changzhou is another major achievement of Sateri in the field of green fibers. In 2020, Sateri successfully developed Sateri Lyocell with a complete set of independent intellectual property rights, and a 25kt/yr line was settled in Rizhao, Shandong. In 2022 and 2023, the phase I project of Sateri (Changzhou) and Sateri (Nantong), each with a capacity of 100kt/yr of Sateri Lyocell, was put into operation successively.

At present, Sateri has laid out lyocell production bases in Rizhao of Shandong, Changzhou, Nantong of Jiangsu, and Jining of Shandong, with total capacity continuing to expand in response to market demand. Under the guidance of the national "Dual Carbon" goal, Sateri lyocell green fibers, through collaborative industrial chain innovation, provide more low-carbon and high-performance fiber solutions for the global market, and also provide strong technical support and capacity guarantee for the green transformation of China's textile industry.
