Jiangsu Oceantex starts up Phase II recycled fiber project

Recently, the Phase II project of Jiangsu Oceantex Fiber Co., Ltd, a 90,000-ton annual capacity recycled fiber project for high-value utilization of waste textiles, officially commenced production. On the commissioning day, the company signed strategic cooperation agreements with multiple partners, laying a solid foundation for subsequent capacity release and high-value market development.

Founded in August 2018, Jiangsu Oceantex Fiber Co., Ltd. covers 127 mu in its Phase I, with an investment of 600 million RMB. It has built two production lines for 90,000 tons/year PET high-purity bottle chips and recycled differentiated polyester staple fiber.

The newly commissioned Phase II project occupies 108 mu with a 1-billion-RMB investment, featuring a workshop of nearly 50,000 square meters. After full operation, it will achieve an annual capacity of 180,000 tons of recycled differentiated polyester staple fiber, with projected sales of 1.2 billion RMB, tax profits of 100 million RMB, and approximately 200 new jobs.
