Indonesia terminates anti-dumping investigation on synthetic fiber filament yarn from China without implementing anti-dumping measures
On June 16, 2025, the Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) issued Announcement No. AD.02/253/KADI/06/2025, stating that in view of the insufficient supply from Indonesia's domestic related industries, imposing anti-dumping duties was not in the national interest. Therefore, it was decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation into synthetic fiber filament yarn originating in China and not implement anti-dumping measures.
On September 12, 2023, Indonesia initiated an anti-dumping investigation into synthetic fiber filament yarn originating in China. On March 11, 2025, the Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee made an affirmative final ruling in the case, recommending the imposition of an anti-dumping duty on the subject goods for a period of five years. The Indonesian tariff numbers for the subject goods are 5402.33.10, 5402.33.90, 5402.46.10, and 5402.46.90.
