By the week ending Jul 6, 48% of U.S. cotton crops is squaring, up 8 percentage point from Jun 29, down 3 percentage point from the same period of 2024, down 1 percentage point from five-year average, according to USDA. 14% of crops is setting bolls.

Crop condition is 6 percent very poor, 11 percent poor, 31 percent fair, 45 percent good and 7 percent excellent.
