By the week ending Jul 13, 61% of U.S. cotton crops is squaring, up 13 percentage point from Jul 6, down 1 percentage point from the same period of 2024, down 1 percentage point from five-year average, according to USDA. 23% of crops is setting bolls.

Crop condition is 7 percent very poor, 10 percent poor, 29 percent fair, 45 percent good and 9 percent excellent.
