Turkey issues announcement on the upcoming expiry of anti-Dumping measures on polyester filament yarn originating from China
On July 16, 2025, Turkey's Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2025/15, stating that the anti-dumping measures on polyester filament yarn (Turkish: Di?erleri, poliesterlerden) originating from China, India, and Malaysia will expire on January 9, 2026. Stakeholders should submit applications and supporting evidence for the sunset review investigation no later than 3 months before the expiration date. The Turkish tariff code for the involved products is 5402.47. The announcement shall take effect from the date of issuance.
On April 26, 2013, Turkey initiated an anti-dumping investigation into polyester filament yarn originating from China, India, and Malaysia. On October 16, 2014, Turkey made a final anti-dumping ruling on this case. On August 4, 2019, Turkey launched the first sunset review investigation of anti-dumping on the involved products from China, India, and Malaysia. On January 9, 2021, Turkey made an affirmative final ruling in the first sunset review of anti-dumping on the involved products from China, India, and Malaysia (see Announcement No. 2021/1), deciding to continue imposing anti-dumping duties for a period of five years, among which the duty for China ranges from 0.25 USD/kg to 0.30 USD/kg.
