By the week ending Jul 27, 80% of U.S. cotton crops is squaring, up 9 percentage point from Jul 20, down 6 percentage point from the same period of 2024, down 3 percentage point from five-year average, according to USDA. 44% of crops is setting bolls.

Crop condition is 7 percent very poor, 7 percent poor, 31 percent fair, 44 percent good and 11 percent excellent.
