By the week ending Aug 10, 93% of U.S. cotton crops is squaring, up 6 percentage point from Jul 27, down 2 percentage point from the same period of 2024, down 1 percentage point from five-year average, according to USDA. 65% of crops is setting bolls and 8% of crops is bolls opening.

Crop condition is 7 percent very poor, 11 percent poor, 29 percent fair, 43 percent good and 10 percent excellent.
