Cotton crop condition in United States (by Aug 31, 2025)

By the week ending Aug 31, 90% of U.S. cotton crops is setting bolls, up 9 percentage point from Aug 24, down 4 percentage point from the same period of 2024, down 3 percentage point from five-year average, according to USDA. 28% of crops is bolls opening.

Crop condition is 2 percent very poor, 11 percent poor, 36 percent fair, 43 percent good and 8 percent excellent.
