Cotton crop condition in United States (by Sep 7, 2025)

By the week ending Sep 7, 97% of U.S. cotton crops is setting bolls, up 7 percentage point from Aug 31, down 1 percentage point from the same period of 2024, flat from five-year average, according to USDA. 40% of crops is bolls opening and 8% is harvested.

Crop condition is 2 percent very poor, 9 percent poor, 35 percent fair, 46 percent good and 8 percent excellent.
