Turkey makes an affirmative final anti-dumping ruling on acrylic or modacrylic fiber from China

On December 17, 2025, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2025/39, making an affirmative final anti-dumping ruling on acrylic or modacrylic fiber originating in China (Turkish: akrilik elyaf/akrilik veya modakrilik olanlar). It was decided to impose anti-dumping duties based on the CIF value. The duty rates are set at 6.72% for Jilin Jimont Acrylic Fiber Co., Ltd. and Jilin Qifeng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., and 14.24% for all other producers/exporters. The Turkish tariff code of the product involved is 5501.30.00.00.00. The measures take effect from the date of the announcement and will remain in force for five years.

On December 25, 2024, Turkey initiated an anti-dumping investigation into acrylic or modacrylic fiber originating in China. The dumping investigation period for the case was from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024, and the injury investigation period was from January 1, 2021, to September 30, 2024.
