China's retail sales of textiles and garments increase y-o-y in Jul, 2025

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 3.8780 trillion Yuan in Jul 2025, up 3.7% year on year. In Jan-Jul 2025, the cumulative retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 28.4239 trillion Yuan, up 4.8% year on year.

In Jul 2025, the retail value of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles above designated size was 96.13 billion yuan, up 1.8% year on year. In Jan-Jul, the cumulative retail sales of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles above designated size totaled 837.07 billion yuan, up 2.9% year-on-year.

In Jul 2025, the retail value of apparel goods above designated size was 66.85 billion yuan, up 0.2% year-on-year. From January to July, the cumulative retail value of apparel was 599.24 billion yuan, up by 2.2% year-on-year.
