China's PSF export change in Jul, 2025

According to the China Customs, uncombed or uncarded PSF exports of China reached 128.4kt in Jul, 2025, marking an 8.9% month-on-month decline and a 29.2% year-on-year surge. Imports were 3.9kt, a fall of 55.2% year-on-year and 7.1% month-on-month.

In the first seven month of 2025, cumulative exports hit 938kt, up 29.4% from the same period in 2024 and setting a new historical record.

In terms of the top 10 export destinations in the first seven months of 2025, Vietnam maintained the largest export markets, with a volume of 169,937 tons, up about 11.5% from the same period of 2024, with a proportion of 18%. Pakistan ranked the second place, with a volume of 107,310 tons, up 41.51% year on year, and its proportion reached 11.4%. Brazil took the third place, seeing a yearly growth of 73.5%. However, exports to Russia and Indonesia decreased, with a yearly reduction of 7.4% and 10.4% respectively.

Overall, China's PSF exports have shown strong momentum in the first seven months of 2025, with cumulative volumes hitting a record high, driven by robust demand from key markets like Vietnam, Pakistan, and Brazil. While monthly exports in July dip slightly from June, the year-on-year growth remains notable, reflecting the competitiveness of Chinese PSF in the global market. Looking ahead, sustained demand from major importing countries, coupled with stable capacity, is likely to keep the export trend positive.
