South Korea makes the preliminary anti-dumping ruling on Polyester Filament Fully Drawn Yarn originating in China

On June 17, 2021, the Korean Trade Commission issued the latest announcement of case No. 23-2020-5 (Resolution 2021-8), which made a preliminary anti-dumping ruling on Polyester Filament Fully Drawn Yarn, FDY, originating in China, and preliminarily ruled that the products involved were dumped. The dumping margin of Zhejiang Hengyi Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. and its affiliated enterprises was 4.25%, that of Xinfengming Group Huzhou Zhongshi Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliated enterprises was 5.56%, that of ZhejiangTiansheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. and its affiliated enterprises was 8.16%, that of Jiangsu Guowang High-Technique Fiber Co.). Ltd. and its affiliated enterprises was at 9.92%, that of Jiangsu Hengli Chemical Fibre Co., Ltd. and its affiliated enterprises was at 7.10%, and that of other suppliers was at 6.55%. The dumping of the products involved in the case has caused substantial damage to South Korea's domestic industry, but it is suggested that temporary anti-dumping duties should not be imposed on Chinese products involved in the case. The Korean tax code of the product involved in the case is 5402.47.9000. 

On January 27, 2021, the Korean Trade Commission launched an anti-dumping investigation into Polyester Filament Fully Drawn Yarn originating in China. The dumping investigation period of the case was from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, and the injury investigation period was from January 1, 2017 to June 30, 2020.
